The Kirkwood Summer Festival is planned for Saturday, June 30 from 3 – 6 pm on the Village Plaza.  The event includes delicious food, wine and beer tasting, live music with Ten Dollar Pony, activities for kids and a Silent Auction filled with unique one-of-a-kind items.

Pre-registration is available on www.kmpud.com.  Adult tickets cost $40 ($50 on June 30); Young Adults (10 – 20 years) $20; Children $10.

The funds raised will be used to purchase self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) devices.  The SCBA is worn by firefighters to provide breathable air in emergency situations.  The goal is to raise $30,000 (or more) to purchase six of these devices.  Support from the community is important and directly contributes towards achieving the goal and keeping the volunteer firefighters safe.
